Services for the Energy from Waste sector
Energy from Waste (EfW) is a significant element of sustainable waste management in the UK and we provide laboratory testing to help.
There’s a need to increase new sources of energy production in the UK, and to reduce the carbon impact of this energy supply. This provides the EfW sector with an opportunity for continued growth. However, with pressures to increase recycling rates, the feedstock available to EfW plants can sometimes be a technical challenge.
We offer a tool for the EfW sector in the form of laboratory testing and the ability of the laboratory to characterise the properties of feedstocks to ensure maximum potential is realised. Laboratory analysis can also detect potential issues with feedstocks before they cause any costly damage or regulatory conditions are breached.
